Welcome. Thank you for visiting the website of our Research Team. As a team, our research focuses on the area of Family Caregiving in Palliative and End of Life Care. We began to officially work together in July 2004 after receiving funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).

Family caregiving, as an issue of concern, has gained increased attention in the last decade as the health care system tries to meet the demands of an aging population and an increase in the prevalence of life-limiting illness. More and more, family members are called upon to provide care for people at the end of life.
